Jason D’Orazio • May 2026 • 2 min read
Jungle Adventure: Swashbuckling adventures in Duran Duran's Hungry Like the Wolf and Ultravox's Love's Great Adventure recall '80s blockbusters like Indiana Jones and Romancing the Stone
Sci-Fi Tech: Gleaming metal environments from Gary Numan's Cars and Flock of Seagull's I Ran recall '80s sci-fi classics like Blade Runner and Tron.
Macabre Hellscape: Twisted macabre videos like Oingo Boingo's No One Lives Forever and the Cure's Lullaby recall morbid movies like Beetlejuice.
Quirky Chaos: Eccentric videos like Men Without Hats' Safety Dance and Devo's Whip It remind us of oddball movies like Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Weird Science.
